I just have to say this was probably one of the most effective posts I have read on the subject so far. I do not understand where you gather up all your information but I am impressed! I’m going to send some people on over to check this out. Fantastic, just plain fantastic. I’m have just started getting into spitting out articles myself, nothing close to your writing skills (doh) but I would love for you to check out my stuff sometime! here

    tabitha:
I checked out your Bowflex. I am pleased that my blog was
interesting for you. I am a self taught high school drop out…..
I just say what comes naturally……perhaps if you try the same
way of speaking on your site …..it may make a big difference
for creating more interest and more clients.
Wishing you more & more success,
    John Castagno.
PS: Write me anytime with any thoughts.

I am trying to research a O/C painting that is signed M Wanker. I think that it may be Maude W Wanker. Does anyone have any information that they can share?

    Thanks,
    Bob

    Bob Bjork:
I researched the name Wanker. In all my 30 years of working
on artists signatures, and dealing with artists that have similar
names, I firmly believe your painting is by Maude Walling WANKER.
For reference information you can check Who Was Who in
American Art. Wanker is also listed in Davenport’s Reference
book, which also gives you other book references.
    Good Luck,
    John Castagno

    Hi Uncle John,
    Hope you are doing well.

If anyone can help with this I know its you.
I recently picked up 2 original watercolour pictures. Each one is a silhouette of a cat, very plain, very simple black honey based watercolour on high quality professional watercolour paper. Each are signed in blue ink by a woman named Olda Young. I found on the back of the picture a small note she left discribing the picture and a very brief history of her life. She states that she started her life as an artist in Moscow. After she married she moved to the UK where her husband purchased her a childs watercolour set and its there where her career as an artist took off. She states that her work is collected thoughout the world and is available from a number of galleries in the UK as well as the internet. I have used Bing, Google and a verity of other search engines and I can not find anymore about her. I would like to get a little more info about her and see some of her other work. Can you help me out with this? No matter what I find out about her, I still love the pictures and they are going to hange in my house.

    Thanks
    Vincent Coppola

    Hi Uncle John,
Please disregard my previous blog. I was able to find Ola Young on the net. Her website is down but I was able to email her. I hope she will respond. Thanks.
